Thomas K. Hohn, P.E., CEO
Mr. Hohn is a registered professional engineer who has been active in Northern Rocky Mountain region since the late 80’s. He graduated from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology in Butte, Montana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1974. His career includes 4 years with Unocal in Southern California offshore and onshore operations, 6 years with Petro Lewis Corp in all phases of engineering and operations management throughout the domestic industry. He has been an independent consulting petroleum engineer since 1984. He has extensive experience in property operation and management, property evaluation, reservoir engineering, project management and field operations. Since 1990 he has worked extensively in the shallow gas plays of the Northern Rockies. He has personally drilled and/or completed in excess of 600 shallow gas wells, as well as planned and managed several programs for a wide variety of clients. His extensive and unique combination of experience in all phases of petroleum engineering, corporate management, and hands-on field operations make him one of the leading experts in Northern Rockies gas exploration and development. In 1999, he founded Hohn Engineering, PLLC, a full service Petroleum Engineering firm in Billings, Montana. Mr. Hohn is a Registered Professional Petroleum Engineer in the States of Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and Oklahoma.
Montana Tech has recognized him as a Distinguished Alumni. He serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the Montana Tech Petroleum Engineering Department. He is also an active member on several Boards of Directors for a variety of industry and community organizations.

Jacob W Hohn, PhD, PE, VP Engineering and Operations
Specialties: Process Design and Engineering, Project Management
He graduated with his B.S. and M.S. degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2005 from Montana Tech of the University of Montana. In 2009 he completed his Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering at Colorado school of Mines. In 2009, Jacob joined Hohn Engineering, PLLC as an associate engineer performing evaluation and field supervision on oil and gas properties throughout Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas. In 2010 he began work at RSR Technologies, Inc. in Dallas, TX as a Senior Process Development Engineer focusing on process optimization and development for smelters and refineries. In 2014 he rejoined Hohn Engineering and is focused on completion design, production optimization and improvement, and asset management. He is viewed as an expert in water treatment and process design and operation. Dr. Hohn is a registered Professional Engineer in Mining and Metallurgy in the State of Texas.
Jacob was recognized as the Outstanding Young Engineer by the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration in 2011.
Jeff Wingerter, VP Geology and Technical Services
Mr. Wingerter has worked over 30 years as a professional geologist. His experience includes both oil and gas and mineral exploration and development, as well as environmental geology. He has been involved in the generation and/or review of 60 wells, resulting in 27 economic completions. He is experienced in regional basin evaluation and potential, prospect generation, field development, well-site supervision, well log analysis, land acquisition recommendations, presentation of conceptual to detailed prospects to management and prospective joint venture partners, permitting, environmental compliance and AFE preparation, and expert testimony, He has testified as an expert in the field of Petroleum Geology before oil & gas commissions in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Utah as well as in litigation court cases.
Mr Wingerter holds the following degrees: BA Geology, 1978, Western State College, Gunnison, Colorado and MS Geology 1982, Eastern Washington University, Cheney, Washington

Shauna Hohn, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Hohn graduated from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and English. She began her career as an intern in the college business office where she worked on writing the policy and procedure manual for the business office. She moved on to serve in several different capacities in accounting. She left in the summer of 2004 to join Hohn Engineering as the Office Manager. She has fulfilled many duties in this role, starting with production accounting and later moving beyond accounting and honing her technical writing skills. Ms. Hohn is responsible for managing the day to day administration and accounting of all of our enterprises and business activities.
She has been recognized as an outstanding business professional in the class of 2016 of the Billings Gazette’s 40 under Forty group.
